When Hz Trax started out in 2005, the goal was to be a premium supplier of techno tools.
And the demand was way bigger than we were expecting. With massive DJ-support, big number in sales and represses on most of the vinyl, we can be proud of what we achieved.

Archive 2012 – Hertz-Break An Entry

Hertz latest release “Break An Entry” on Respekt Recordings got great support from Marco Bailey, Sasha Carassi and Slam to name a few.
“The infamous Hertz are back on Respekt with the intense “Break An Entry”, and once again live up to their reputation of high-octane production.Furiously taking off, the original mix engulfs you with a bubbling subsonic bassline and some tasty looping dissonance. Sharp riffage and carefully placed risers keep the momentum at an all-time high. Mikael Jonasson takes the subliminal approach with subtle synth stabs and tightly programmed hats. The sound of the apocalypse still looms above however, as the riffs mutate and rise to the dark occasion.”

Archive 2011 – Hertz-Red Ryder

Toolroom release, mixed by UMEK;
“Key highlights of the album are undoubtedly Phunk Investigation’s relentless ‘Wall Of Sound’ and the pulsating ‘Red Ryder‘ from Hertz which quite literally rips through the speakers with a violent bassline forming the equivalent of a heavy blow to the back of the skull”
